Z-Text Develops Disposable Messaging Identity for No-Phone-Number Communication
The planned feature would let users create a temporary messaging identity for a proposed $3 fee, without registering a phone number, SIM card, or email address.
United States, 19th Sep 2026 — Z-Text LLC, developer of a privacy-focused blockchain messaging application built on BitcoinZ, is developing a disposable messaging identity. The planned feature would allow users to create a temporary, cryptographically separate identity, use it for messaging, and remove the identity’s local key when it is no longer needed.
The feature extends Z-Text’s existing account architecture, which does not require a phone number, SIM card, or email address for identity creation. Z-Text is currently in private beta as the company prepares for a planned early October 2026 application release.
